Is it winter or spring?

Both our daffodils and tulips are popping through! I love it! It's really starting to feel like spring, with this spring like sunshine (not the weather so much, still pretty chilly) - but it feels good to see spring on it's way!

Valentine's Day!

Our family had such a wonderful and special Valentine's Day. We hope yours did too!

Brian and I were lucky to sneak out for a fabulous dinner on Friday night, while the kiddos stayed home with Grandma and Grandpa Weeks. They had fun playing, while Brian and I had a great time re-connecting. It's always so hard when he gets home from work to actually sit down and talk about our days, as we are rushing around, making dinner, feeding the babes, getting baths taken care of, books read, bottles made, etc.
That by the time the kids are in bed we are exhausted and just want to veg out! Sound familiar to anyone??? :)

So we had a wonderful dinner and great CONVERSATION, as maybe we had almost forgotten what it was.

Saturday, Brooke had a REALLY busy day. She got her hair done in the morning, took Jack to a birthday party for his good friend Troy who was turning 3! (Maggie had to miss out, b/c she wasn't feeling well, so she and Daddy had some fun alone time). Then Brooke had a great Sensaria party that night at our house. So she was on the go all day long Saturday.

So Sunday was REST DAY!!!!! Besides a trip to Target for diapers, etc., not much else was done.
But, we did spend time as a family and it was a wonderful Valentine's Day.

Oh to love the babysitter...

We have found the most amazing babysitter, besides the gparents, of course. :)
She is amazing with the kids, and I (Brooke) just adore her.
Today while watching the kids she got some great pics of them, played with them and folded the laundry.... can we say, super sitter?????

Mama ain't no good, ain't no good, ain't no good....

We've got one sick Mama on our hands! BOOO!!!
Brooke has a diagnosed case of Strep Throat. This has been a rough 7 months for her since having Maggie. Between migraines, possible removal of endometriosis and now STREP! UGH!!!!
She went to Urgent Care this am, and was confirmed and put on antibiotics :(. She has to take them for 24 hours before no longer being contagious. We're a bit worried that Mr. Jack will get it as he was drinking from a straw after Mommy yesterday (what were ya thinking you might ask, well, we're asking ourselves the same question!).
We just hope and pray that no one else in the Weeks household catches this nasty crud.

7 months young!!!

Maggie "chillin" in her Ergo - while Daddy carries her :)

Our sweet little girl turned 7 months on Tuesday. I still cannot believe how fast she is growing and how she is just turning into the sweetest, most adorable and lovable little girl.

She is in LOVE with her big brother! Anything he does to try to make her laugh.... WORKS! :)
She thinks he's so funny, and when he gets a good reaction (ie. laughing or smiling from her) he just keeps going. It's so fun to see them interacting together.

Maggie is still struggling with solids. She is not wanting to take them willingly, and will only eat about 2 baby spoonfuls per night, but we're keeping at it, and hoping that she'll start to enjoy them.
She is still loving her bottle!

She is also sitting up! Most of the time, unassisted, for a few seconds, then tumbles over. We are so proud of our little princess and just love her so much. She has truly made our family complete!
