Sneak peek at what Maggie's 1st birthday theme is... she is so SWEET, we just couldn't resist!

Is it finally really summer?

WOW! It's really feeling like summer here in Portland this weekend! And, it's about time!!!
It feels so great to wake up to sunshine, and be able to take the munchkins outside to play!

We are slowly, but surely getting settled into our new home. It's so nice to live so close to everything... ie. grocery store, gas stations, etc. As when we lived in Gig Harbor it was a good 15 minute drive into town. So we are thankful to have everything so close, but most importantly to have some of our family SO CLOSE. Brooke's Grandmother lives about 5 minutes away, as does her Aunt and their family. It's great!
Not to mention all of our most dear friends are also nearby, and it is so nice to see them, and be caught up on all that is going on in their lives.

Brooke has been working hard on the house. To say that it was cleaned before the move would be ... well ... a BIT FAT LIE! It was pretty dirty. So, not only unpacking, decorating, etc. - but, also TONS o' cleaning to do, as well.
But, so far it's all been worth it. We are really enjoying our new home. And, hope and pray to be here for a while... NO MORE MOVING!!!!

I hope this finds you all well, and enjoying this amazing weather. Get outside and do something, even if it's just sitting and enjoying that big yellow ball in the sky!

We're Oregonians Again!

I apologize on the lack of writing/blogging. We have had a whirlwind of a month, that's for sure! May gave us some challenges, many changes, but a lot of fun & love too!

As most of you know, we have moved back to Oregon. It was somewhat of a bittersweet move for us, to leave the beautiful town of Gig Harbor and of course, Brian's parents who lived so close by and whom we got to spend lots of time with. But, we are now much closer to my family, along with some of our closest friends - who have families as well, so I see a fun and adventurous summer in our future.

Brian found us a home in the Tanasbourne area of Beaverton. He had to come down and pick it out himself, as Jackson was very ill, and I was unable to come. So, on moving day - it was the first time I had seen the house - besides pictures. He did a great job! It is an older ranch, but all on one floor, which I love, and some updates, which are great. Not to mention, a family room - which is something that would have been incredibly hard for us to give up - since technically it's the munchkins playroom. And, also a home that Buster could come live in as well. So he did GREAT!

I promise, once we are a bit more settled, I will begin blogging more frequently (I know, I know... how many times have I said that before????). But, really I will try! :)
