Five years...

Five years ago, was one of the very best days of my life! (in addition to the births of both Jackson and Maggie!)
May 26, 2007, Brian and I were married at the sweetest little wedding chapel in Canby, Oregon. It was a beautiful and sweet evening wedding, with a reception filled with those we love the most.
Happy Anniversary to the best husband in the world. I love you dearly, and know we have so many more years and memories to build together! xoxo
 A few fun Engagement Photos...
(look at how little Buster is!!! ... and how young Brian & I look! HA!!!)

 An Amazing Day!
 Inside the gorgeous Chapel
(a very special piece of our wedding ceremony, was that my Uncle Jim (my Grandmother's brother, who is a Minister) married Brian and Me. I loved that we were married by someone we love and who is a piece of our family!)
All of the flowers were so GORGEOUS!!!!
Can't wait to see what the future brings!

Just a few...

Pictures that is... I've been so bad about keeping up with the blog... I thought I'd just put some updated photos up... (much more exciting than my mile long posts!!!)...
The kiddos are doing FABULOUS!
Brian is working so hard at work, and at home!
... and I am adjusting/adapting to this new phase of life, which includes Secondary Addison's Disease (also known as Adrenal Insufficiency and Low Functioning Pituitary Gland).
Each day seems to bring something new, for each of us... and I cannot express how incredibly blessed I am to have such a loving and wonderful family, who not only help me MOST when I need it, but even when I don't necessarily need it. And, for that I love each and every one of them.
xoxo
 Sweet Girl...
Umm... Sassy Girl (we've been getting a bit more of these type of faces lately, along with a lot of "sassy" arms (crossed arms accompanied with stomping), and exaggerated sighing & "HUH's"...
Having fun on a recent trip to OMSI, with my fabulous friend Katy, and her little guy, Camden.
(He was much too busy, as was Jack to take any moments for a photo op.... silly mama!)
If you look closely, I actually caught them both in this photo!
Amazing that I was able to do that, not to mention they were in the same vicinity as one another...
I think it was the only time, during the 3+ hours we had fun there!
 My little Chipmunk!
(I'll have to look back through photos, but I have pics of J, when he was around one year old, playing in this very same "nest" at OMSI... he loved it just as much this time, as he did then!).
And... yep, those are some BIG Acorns!
Looks as if she's feeling a bit unsure of her "outfit"... understandable when you're used to being a Princess all of the time... Going from Princess to Chipmunk/Raccoon/Badger is a mighty change... it may take some adjusting to.
Cute little "raccoon/badger" girl".
Speaking of... tonight Jackson and Maggie wanted to watch the "Chipmunks Movie"... so since Daddy had a late work meeting (along with me dealing with some household "plumbing" issues... in the kitchen, but still gross... ugh!) their request was granted.
As soon as the movie started, Jackson so eloquently stated "Mommy chipmunks are so cute! They are just so chipmunky!". Yep, they sure are... chipmunky, that is. :)
Jackson showing off his extra special (and tiny) Buzz and Woody
(from the movie Toy Story) Lego Figurines.
He is really getting into legos, and LOVES the smaller ones (for BIG boys!). Buzz and Woody arrived after a long week of Daddy being gone in Philadelphia, Mommy not feeling her best, but Jackson hanging in there and being such an AWESOME boy!!!!
My Sweet Guy, snuggling in bed with me!
Love that kiddo!
 A boy's best friend
(poor Buster, he looks like he's being held hostage, but I promise he isn't... he follows Jackson around to no end...). It's really fun to see how much fun they have playing together now... Jack loves to throw the ball for Buster to "fetch"... unfortunately, Buster isn't the best at "dropping" upon return... which, as I'm sure you can imagine is a bit annoying for Jackson. Just a bit!
I just want to squeeze him, and never ever let him grow up!
When I tell him that he tells me, he has to grow up, "I have a lot of things to learn to put in my brains, Mommy"... "I'll be fine, and you will too... I'll always be your baby boy."... oh Love Love Love him!
Apparently "Mama Kitty" (yes, there is "baby kitty" too), had some sort of accident, as she needed to be covered from head to toe paws to paws in band aids!
Jackson proudly standing next to his AMAZING ROBOT he made all by himself, from all recyclables!
He made one at school, which lead to about 12+ made at home, but gotta say the kiddo is RESOURCEFUL, and always very good at making sure that all supplies used in Robot Making/Construction were in fact recyclables, rather than our first incident of him using an entire pad of Mama's new scrapbook paper... It was a gorgeous Robot, and that's all that matters, right?
The CUTEST Brother and Sister EVER!!!!
May was a BUSY BUSY BUSY month for us... and to think it's already almost over! Whew, it flew by!!!!
May held a lot of special days: Mother's Day, My Birthday, Brian and My Anniversary (along with many more extended relatives birthdays), and a trip to "Sesame Street Live"!
I think that was for sure Jackson and Maggie's favorite FUN that happened in May!
They LOVED every moment of it, and were so much fun to watch take in every single moment of the show!
We had fun parking downtown at Daddy's office, and riding the MAX (so not only did we get Sesame Street Live, we also got to ride the TRAIN!!!) to the Rose Quarter and back!
This photo is of the munchkins prior to the show, waiting for the Max to come to head to the Rose Quarter.
Again, they were awesome... but, a bit more tired, and less "happy faces", and many more "tired faces" on the way home!

What a great month May is/was!
We hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did, and were blessed as much as we were!

All our Love,
The Weeks Team.
