Spring or Fall????

Gig Harbor can't decide if it wants to be Spring or Fall.... we've had sunshine, and then pouring rain, hail and thunder... let's hope it decides Spring. All of us desperately need some outside time and some mega Vitamin D!

Things are going well for all of us. We have made a BIG decision and that is to move back to the Portland/Vancouver area. We miss our friends there desperately, along with some other reasons in regards to Brian's job, etc. So, we can't wait for Brian to find a job, start the house hunt and get movin'!!!!
We do love Gig Harbor, but it just hasn't felt like home to us. We feel we will find that again in Portland or Vancouver. --- all depends on where Brian finds work.

The kiddos are doing GREAT! Jack is becoming more and more grown up each day, and really learning to use his words, rather than hands... which we are VERY happy about.
Maggie is happy as a clam, as usual. She is nothing more than a sweet, delightful little girl to be around. We cannot believe she will be 9 months in just a few days! Time flies. She is really wanting to crawl, but for now her mode of transportation is major rolling.... EVERYWHERE!!! :)

We miss everyone, and hopefully get to see some of you all SOON!
Keep us in your prayers with this move (hopefully soon!!!!) coming upon us!
Love,
The Weeks

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Wanted to wish everyone a Happy St. Patty's Day! We aren't doing anything too exciting here at the Weeks' House, but we did dress Maggie in the outfit that Jack wore on his first St. Patty's Day! Which was a lot of fun.

Jack has decided he does NOT LIKE having his picture taken right now so we have very few pics of him. :(

Guess he's growing up, and deciding what he will and will not cooperate with.

We hope everyone has a great day and doesn't forget to wear their green.... *pinch*

Weekend Fun.....

Brian and I got to enjoy a fabulous day date on Saturday... it was so nice. The weather was gorgeous.... and it was just nice to be able to talk and walk around, eat lunch, etc. without worrying about changing diapers, feeding the babes, naptime, etc.
We REALLY appreciate Brian's parents for caring the kiddos all day!!!!
Brian and I decided since it was so gorgeous to drive up to Poulsbo and then on to Bainbridge Island.... so fun! Both little towns, with the cutest little shops. It was overall a great day!!!!

Sunday nights are always difficult for me, because we all know that Brian has his big work week ahead of him, and I've got to get back on schedule with the kiddos, but this week has gone fairly smoothly... knock on wood. Jack has a bit of a cough and stuffy nose, and Maggie is teething like crazy (poor baby), but we're all getting through it.
We're playing lots of games, lots of coloring, etc.
Trying to keep everyone happy, and Mommy sane! :)

I hope you are all having a wonderful start to the beginning of your week!!!!

ps. We could use a lil' sunshine up this way.... :)

WOW!

Ok, I took a mega break from blogging - about 2 weeks.... but, we're BACK!!!!!

Lots of news.....

First off, my (Brooke) surgery went well. They did NOT find any endometriosis, however they did find varicose veins on my pelvic region, so I go in on Wednesday 3/10 to see what my options are for that.
I did have a bit of a difficult recovery, and poor Brian got strep throat the day of my surgery, but we all made it through with the help of Brian's parents, our fabulous babysitter, and my great Mom's group who brought us meals for 10 days! I'm so grateful they were all here for us!!!!

SECOND.... Maggie turned 8 months YOUNG on March 2nd. She also has 2 bottom teeth now. She is turning into quite the BIG girl. Crawling all over the place, and getting on her belly, trying with all of her might to crawl.... gotta still master the sitting up.... still a bit wobbly in that portion. :) But, she's doing so great.

Jack is also doing really wonderful. He's stringing words into sentences now - and becoming so much easier to converse with. We're thinking of the beginning stages of potty training.... as he'll tell us he "pooped" afterwards, we'd just like him to tell us beforehand and go ON the potty :)
It'll all come with time. So we are being very patient, because as most of you know we've got a strong headed little guy on our hands.
We're looking into pre-schools for next fall, and trying to find the right fit for Jack.

Overall we're doing really good. Spending a lot of time at the YMCA. It's still pretty cold here.... and we're ready for spring and summer to come!

Lots of Love to all,
The Weeks
