B.U.S.Y.!!!

It has been a while since I have last had a second to sit down and blog, or sit down and do ANYTHING! We have been busy, busy, busy!!!

We are all doing great, but our days seem to be flying by! I guess, that is good on some days, and not on others! I am helping out with 2 baby showers - one was today, for my great friend, Lindsey. She, her husband and darling daughter, Bailey are expecting another little girl in December! We cannot wait to meet the newest addition of the Anderson family! The next shower is for The Enderby Family, who are also expecting a little girl! Lastly, another couple, who are close friends, The Coffee's, are expecting a baby girl too, in January! WOW!!!! All these baby girls, all of us women great friends, and all of the pregnant Mamas are due within 3 weeks of eachother! That is a lot of baby talk!!! Maggie will have some wonderful girlfriends to meet and grow up with! We couldn't be more thrilled for each family!

I am also working on Jack's 3rd Birthday Party! I cannot believe he is going to be 3!!!! He is growing, learning, and accomplishing new things on a daily basis! It's amazing how much he takes in to what you explain to him, read to him, etc. He is definitely a little sponge!
I am feeling a little bittersweet about him turning 3 - I remember holding him in my arms for the first time after giving birth, and it feels just like it was yesterday, and now he's going to be 3! He'll be going from a "toddler" to a "preschooler"!!! That is ONE BIG STEP! And, he is ready! He can't wait to be 3, and is most excited about starting preschool in November. He will go 2 mornings p/week, for 2 1/2 hours each Tuesday and Thursday. I know the first  few days will be hard for ME, and most likely, fairly easy and FUN for him! I know he will love it, and needs the interaction with other kiddos. So, I'll just keep reminding myself of how much fun and what he is gaining from school!
Also, reminding myself that it will give Maggie and I some special one on one time together, that we rarely get. She will definitely miss him. Whenever he isn't here - if he has gone somewhere with Brian - she seems a bit confused... looking around for him, etc. It's sweet, she really loves him, no matter how many times she gets pushed down, toys grabbed out of her hands, stepped on, etc. The love is truly unconditional, and she would be lost without him!

Maggie recently had her 15 month well check with the Pediatrician. She is doing great, and is a very healthy girl! She seems to be showing us that she is going to be tall and thin - when looking at her growth chart! There is a small concern with her feet, and the way in which she stands on them. She tends to roll them inward, causing it to be more difficult for her to get her balance. She will be seeing an Pediatric Orthopedist, and they will decide what the next step will be. Most likely some nifty insoles, as well as some possible physical therapy. Until then, we got her some great sturdy Stride Rite shoes that the Pediatrician recommended, and we're hoping that she'll soon gain the confidence to take off on her own! She is completely capable, but the fear factor is still running strong!
But, I have a feeling soon enough, we'll be chasing her, just like we do Jack!

I hope all is well in your lives as you read this.
Please keep my Grandmother, Bette in your prayers, as she has been dealing with some severe stomach issues, is on the mend, but pray she continues to heal - and that all of her further testing comes back with good results.
Apologies on cutting this post short. We are planning a trip to the Pumpkin Patch tomorrow, so hopefully I'll get a chance to post some fun news and pictures about our trip!
Love to you all, and again hoping everyone is healthy and well.
Lots of Love, Hugs and Kisses,
The Weeks
