Every girl needs a little change in her life...

We hope you all had a WONDERFUL Easter!

Ours was Fabulous!!!! Beyond fabulous! Great food, wonderful weather and the BEST of all... AMAZING time spent with those we love.

Today was Day #2 of me going at it, solo with the kiddos. And, overall we had a great day. The weather was SO SO SO FABULOUS! I'm hoping & praying that Spring is truly here, and here to stay.

We spent most of the morning on the back deck... blowing bubbles, playing in the sandbox, drawing and writing (Jackson wrote his name, ALL BY HIMSELF... with CHALK!!!) with sidewalk chalk. We even got the little slide out, and of course Jackson's bike (which he is now WAY TOO BIG for.. we are currently on the hunt for a bigger bike for him...) and Maggie's rocket AND the bball hoop!

It was so nice for us all to get some much needed fresh air!

Tonight was the regular... dinner, play, bath time, books... bedtime.

Wait... one little change. Just for Maggie...

Most days, she is really great about letting me get her hair out of her face, but on the days she isn't, or Daddy "forgets", her hair is, well... as Jackson has so kindly stated about mine (when I have morning... or afternoon... or evening "bedhead"), "Mama, your hair is like a Jungle!".... HA!!!!

(Easter Sunday... gorgeous as always! Her "little bangs" are just new hairs growing in.)

 

Maggie got a bit of a new 'do! She didn't fuss one bit, and afterwards kept admiring her gorgeous self in the mirror! She looks so much older!!!! 

 (New "little bangs"... as in a little more than there were, and her hair is no longer a Jungle!)

(Daddy says he likes it, but I think it's going to take him a bit longer to get used to the (very few strands) that Mama trimmed off... :) ).
