since I've blogged... so I've finally gotten a few moments of silence (phew!!!) to sit down and let you know how all of the 4 (well, 5 counting Buster) Weeks are doing.
First off, we had a wonderful Christmas. We hosted both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day. It was so great to have Brian's parents here with us, and we also were blessed to have Brian's brother, wife and their 3 teenagers with us. They were so great entertaining and playing with Jack and Maggie.
We went to Christmas Eve service at the Gig Harbor Methodist Church, and really enjoyed it. We have been going there on and off, and have really liked it.
We spent Christmas morning eating and opening presents, and boy oh boy, Jack and Maggie were good this year!!! And, apparently Brian and I were too.... Santa blessed us! :)
After Christmas, we had undecided plans for New Years, and finally decided on a Pizza Party with Jack, and then after he went to bed we watched a movie... exciting, right??? HA! Brian and I were both asleep by 11pm! But, woke up well rested and feeling great, as I'm sure a lot of people did NOT! :)
Lastly,
Today Maggie went in for her 6 mo. checkup. She has gained over 3 1/2 lbs... since her 4 mo. check up, and has grown two inches. She is getting to be quite the great eater, and loves taking a bottle with formula. I am no longer breastfeeding, as Maggie has decided that getting the bottle is faster, and she enjoys the formula.
