playing catch... up!

Catch up time... 

(warning: lots of cuteness below... enjoy!)

I have been cleaning, organizing, etc. for the past couple of days... since as I (Brooke) had mentioned in a prior post, I will be having surgery towards the end of July, and will be out of commission for 2-6 (6!?!?! I hope it's waaaaaaay closer to the 2) weeks. And, of course... if any of you know me.. I love to  try to have all of my ducks in a row, in order for things to run smoothly when I'm not able to help out with everything that goes along with being the Mama to one's family. 

I have had a lot of fun downloading (FINALLY!!!) many pictures and videos, both off of our camera, as well as my phone... so enjoy some older, some newer, but ALL GREAT... photos, and cute movies.

Maggie Weeks as One very tired girl!

This video does this scenario NO justice at all... because you can hardly hear Jackson singing... but, it was about time for Maggie to go to bed (can you tell???), and they were watching a little sing-a-long show. Jack was singing along to the sweetest "goodnight" song... oh, how I wish you could hear... but, I love how all of this is going on, while poor Daddy is playing "horsey", and Magg's is about ready to fall asleep right there on the floor!

This is a recent (this past week) movie of 

Maggie singing "Jesus Loves Me". 

Her little voice is beyond sweet.

She has a pink bunny that sings 

"Jesus Loves Me" when you push it's belly... 

I love that bunny, 

because Jack has the same exact Bunny (except his is blue), 

that he received on his very first Easter. 

Maggie's Bunny didn't come until her 2nd Easter, 

as apparently the Easter Bunny 

wasn't quite sure where to find this cutie. :)

This is what our fabulous entertainment was last night... all playing Ring Around the Rosy!!! :)

I was able to take a turn out, in order to capture the fun on video.

Such cuties, yep... including Buster, walking amongst the fun... 

(ps. anyone else catch J giving M a little "help" (aka: mini push) down, after the verse "we all fall down"... little stinker!).

This is probably Maggie's favorite activities at the moment... oh how we are all so dizzy by bedtime... :p

 Baby Girl Down, Baby Girl Down... 

Maggie was one pooped out little lady... 

this picture was taken after a 

gorgeous, beautiful, sunny, hot and 

looooooong day at the park, 

the one (of many) with the super fun fountains!

She, literally, could barely keep her eyes open.

But, it was such a fun day!

 Apparently the night before didn't seem to phase her... 

as she was ready to hit the park again 

the next day with Daddy too!

(don't you love her "fountain" outfit... ha!). 
She doesn't like to wear her swimsuit 
when playing at the fountains, 
so we came up with this ensemble, 
which she approves of. 
It is a cute "swim top" ~ which Mama loves, 
because, it's so much EASIER than 
applying, and re-applying sunscreen to all that skin 
that is covered by said awesome swim shirt. 
The shorts and shoes are just "awesome", 
according to Maggie, who picked these out herself. 
And, yep... she says "awesome", 
and always in the correct context... 
it's pretty funny and incredibly cute to hear!

Maggie's favorite park activity by far are the ... SWINGS!!!

Jackson! 

He loves the fountains so MUCH! 

Thankfully we have quite a few parks in our area that have fun fountains! 

We love days when it really feels like summer around here!

He, of course, LOVES it... 

because it has a Monkey on it, 

also because he doesn't like not wearing a shirt...

He says "everyone will see me naked and think I'm too silly"... 
Agreed ~ again, 
mostly due to the fact that we don't have to worry 
about the sunscreen issue quite as much in swim "outfits"!

Poor Buster Brown Boy doesn't get a whole 'lotta attention these days,

and rarely ANY spotlight... but, he's still such a good boy...

and J & M LOVE him so much. Jackson a bit more than Maggie... :p
